Monologues about war?
does anyone know of any monologues about war, they have to be from plays not movies… please help
Accrington Pals (by Peter Whelan) has several monolgues based on the UK WWI experience – both male and female.
Also look at “Not about Heroes” bt Stephen McDonald, same war, about Seigfreid Sasson and Wilfred Owen (two very famous english War poets).
Try looking at the works of the above two poets as well – particularly “Does it matter” by Sassoon and “Dulce et Decorum est” by Owen.
