Where do you download Korean shows and movies, Koreans?
I am Korean, and my family used to download these shows and korean movies all the time on the computer. I can’t remember the site, but it was something like “PDbox” or something. how do you use the site and do you need that Korean personal number to sign up into the site or something? help! i would very appreciate that…
This is definitely my forte, I know downloading, because I am an uploader and dedicated Korean media forum member of many places. It really depends on what you want and how you want it.
Youtube, Mysoju, and Veoh are great places to watch, however, it is low to medium quality, and is more for online viewing rather than offline viewing when you download.
If you prefer high quality, and can wait patiently for long downloads, (because the higher the quality of the video, the longer it takes to download if it is not divided into parts) then my suggestion is to use Clubbox, like someone has mentioned below. There’s a Korean media forum called Soompi which is enormously popular so sometimes the forum may lag due to the massive amount of members, that offers downloads by Clubbox only. It is a great forum, with information on everything, and they’re are tons of Clubboxes to look at. There are people and tutorials over there that can help you with the process of installing, downloading, etc. because most of the time, a lot of people have trouble in the beginning. I love Clubbox, however, sometimes it can get frustrating because 700 MB of high quality drama = 3-5 hours of downloading on my connection. I suggest to download several things at once, then let it download during the night while you are sleeping. =)
If you are an unpatient person who wants high quality, my other suggestion is to use BWW2, Idols Unlimited, Shareparadise, etc. who use file sharing sites instead and divide big files into smaller parts so downloading is quicker. Its great, and most of these sites they also offer English subs too.
