Why did they stop making Avatar:the last air bender episodes?
I just finished watching the last episode of avatar…and it fells like unfinished for some reason…so i was wondering can anyone explain to me why they stop making the avatar episodes and not like family guy just continue making them…also is the new avatar live action movie that comes out in 2010 a follow up that acts like book 4 or will just be a repeat of all books but in movie form???

I think that’s as far as they planned to go with it, and it might have lost some popularity (though I always faithfully watched it). We’ll have to see if, after the movie (if it’s popular enough), they start making episodes again (I would certainly petition for that).
The movie is going to be split into 3 parts if the first is sucessful so they have money to, and the three parts will represent the three books (water, earth, fire, in that order).
